It should also be noted that there are hazards spread out along the roads, so take extra caution to be very careful when driving in these areas. Always make sure that you are alert and aware on the road at all times.

●     Safety Check – Always make sure that your seatbelt is fastened, your headlights are on during hazardous driving conditions, and at night, and always make sure that small children are safely buckled into their seats. You should also have your vehicle inspected accordingly, and make sure that everything is in proper working condition.

●     Keep Your Eyes on the Road – This means that you should always concentrate on the road, and not on a passenger or cell phone. You can get into a serious accident by texting somebody an SMS while driving, not to mention getting points on your license, and paying a substantial ticket. If you need to talk on the phone while driving, make sure that you have a Bluetooth or headset, so that you’re hands are free at all times.

You can become convicted and spend time in jail for a DUI. If you’ve have a few drinks, it’s always better to be safe than sorry, and either call for a taxi or have a designated driver take you home.

●     Be Aware of the Road – You should always get into good habits at an early stage, such as signaling when changing lanes or making turns. Always follow all safety signs on the road, and pay close attention to warning signs of hazardous road conditions, such as moving rocks, sharp curves and landslides.
